The 2012 "Vettes Doin' Charleston" show is coming up in April, and it appears that at least
a few VotS members are planning the trip. Hopefully, we can make a great showing with

We have a new "Activities Director"! Everyone please welcome Lagina Vaught to that position, which was vacated
by Ann Hill, due to the fact that she and Rudy have moved to Florida! We wish to thank Ann, and Rudy, for all
their hard work in the past, and we will not forget their contributions to the club. I think we all know that the club
would not be what it is without their contributions as "founding members"! Hopefully they will stay in touch, and I'm sure we'll see
them at some events in the near future!
We will also miss Kris and Tim Steffen, who are also moving out of state.....to Wyoming, no less! Once again,
we thank them for their contributions (Kris put together our Biltmore trip in 2009, among other things), and let them know they will
be missed. Hopefully we'll see them at some event(s), somewhere in the future.
Several Vettes of the Smokies members celebrated Christmas at Ridgefields Country Club on December 10,
and it was a wonderful evening filled with good food, fun and fellowship. We missed those who could not make it!
